The Bargello Museums await you on Sunday to discover our wonders. Immerse yourself in the history, art, and culture of Florence, a day of discovery and fun.
From 8:15 a.m. to 1:50 p.m., you can visit the Bargello National Museum, one of the most important sculpture museums in Italy, which houses masterpieces by Donatello, in the recently renovated hall named after him, Michelangelo, and other great Renaissance artists. in the succession of rooms, you will find the various collections that make this place great: the Ivories, the Carrand Collection, the Islamic and Majolica Room, the Robbiane, and many more.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see the Medici Chapels, a true treasure trove of art and spirituality, where you will find the tombs of the great Medici family, the Chapel of the Princes, entirely frescoed and decorated with inlaid stones, and the magnificent New Sacristy, entirely designed and enriched with sculptural groups by Michelangelo, open continuously from 8:15 a.m. to 6:50 p.m.
And then, you can’t miss Orsanmichele, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You will see the striking building with its unique architecture, which was once the grain market and is now one of the symbols of the city. You will walk around a perimeter with statues of saints, patrons of the ancient arts of the city, created by Renaissance artists.
