In this festive season, the Bargello Museums wish everyone a peaceful and joyous Christmas, full of warmth and beauty. We thank visitors for sharing their time with us by dedicating it to art and history, finding traces of it in the collections of our five Places of Culture. The intent is to identify the needs of the audiences who will want to ‘discover’ us this vacation season.
Here are the updated schedules and our initiatives for the last days of 2024.
Starting on Saturday 21, we are offering three guided tours at Orsanmichele, at no additional cost to the ticket and without reservations, for groups of up to 20 people, departing at 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The Bargello National Museum on Tuesday, Dec. 24, the weekly closing day, will be open from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.; on Thursday, Dec. 26, St. Stephen’s Day, it will conduct extended hours from 8:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday, December 30, will be closed for weekly rest, to open on the 31st, the last day of the year, from 8:15 a.m. to 1:50 p.m.
On days that are not subject to change or expansion, our Museums will maintain their usual opening hours.
For 2025, from Jan. 4 to Feb. 24 inclusives, the Bargello National Museum will be open with expanded hours from 8:15 a.m. to 6:50 p.m., all Saturdays, Sundays first and third, and Mondays.
May these holidays bring with them moments of reflection, conviviality and inspiration, in a much-needed atmosphere of peace and serenity. We hope to see you soon and journey together through the wonders of the past and the emotions that only art can provide.
